Title: Skew lattices

Abstract: Skew lattices are noncommutative generalizations of lattices. Lattices abound throughout mathematics. Apart from examples in logic and set theory, open sets in a topological space form a lattice, and so do the idempotents in an idempotent closed ring with identity. In the talk we shall study examples of skew lattices and explore their properties.
