CHIS receives EOS grant

The Department of Chemical Engineering (CHIS) is proud to announce that the department has won a prestigious Excellence of Science (EOS) grant of the Belgian Government.

In the next four years, CHIS will be coordinating a 4 million euro project on Chemical Data Mining using smart search and decision algorithms and new combinations of separation methods. The project will be carried out by a consortium of researchers from UGhent, KULeuven and ULiège. The project was among the 38 winning projects, selected out of 270 applications from all scientific disciplines, including humanities and arts.
