I work(ed) on the operational and calibration aspects of different instruments used in space or on groundbased telescopes

  • Space Missions:
    • TIRA: thermal infrared camera for the ESA Hera mission that will perform an in situ study of the Near Earth Asteroid binary Didymos
      (foreseen launch date: end 2024).
    • ISOCAM for ESA's Infrared Space Observatory
    • PACS for ESA's Herschel Space Observatory
    • MIRI for the NASA James Webb Space telescope (foreseen launch date: 2021)
  • Groundbased:
    • METIS for the European Extremely Large Telescope (European Southern Observatory, Chile, expected start date 2022)
