I am a newly graduated climatologist specialised in numerical representation of the north polar region (PhD obtained in 01/2018).
Since March 2018, I have joined the Ice and Climate research group of the Geography Department as post-doctoral researcher.
My work is about improving the Greenland ice sheet – climate interactions using the ice sheet model GISM (Huybrechts and de Wolde, 1999; Huybrechts, 2002; Fürst et al., 2011) and the regional climate model MAR (Fettweis et al., 2013; 2017).
This significant improvement, expected for the next IPCC report (AR6), contribute to better understand and estimate the global sea level rise evolution under future global warming climate. A real issue for 19% of the world’s population living in the coastal areas.
