Na het grote succes van de voorbije jaren vindt vanaf woensdag 27 maart tot zaterdag 30 maart 2019 opnieuw een nationale Missing Maps Mapathon plaats, georganiseerd door het Nationaal Comité voor Geografie, in samenwerking met OpenStreetMap Belgium. Acht universiteiten in Brussel, Vlaanderen en Wallonië zetten hun deuren open voor enkele uurtjes collectief ‘mappen’. Kom je steentje bijdragen, en mis deze kans niet om Artsen Zonder Grenzen en het Rode Kruis te helpen bij hun werk in crisisgebieden.

Aan de VUB gaat het event door op donderdag 28 maart, van 18.00h tot 21.00h in de computerlokalen in gebouw E, niveau 1. Registreren kan je hier.

The Department of Geography of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel seeks a motivated candidate for a PhD position on urban ecosystem service assessment. The research will be carried out in the frame of an Innoviris Anticipate project (CO-NATURE) on the co-production of scenarios for nature-based urban regeneration with a focus on the Brussels Capital Region. The project is a collaboration between the Cartography and GIS Research Group (CGIS) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Building, Architecture and Town Planning Department (BATir) of the Université libre de Bruxelles.
