NOCODAZOLE

Molecular structure:

Nocodazole or methyl[5-(2-thienyl-carbonyl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]-carbamate is one of the antimicrotubule agents used as an antitumor drug. It inhibits the polymerisation of free tubuline molecules by binding an arginine residu of the ß-tubulin subunit.
