µFlow Cell on Kanaal Z

The demand for microfluidics is rising in the medical, pharma and biotech industry. It has multiple applications such as the isolation of cancer cells from blood. Also diabetes patients at the UZ Brussel are helped with this analysis method.

At the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, µFlow Cell developed a new technology that separates samples more quickly and they are building a cleanroom MICROLAB for microfabrication of microfluidic devices in glass and silicon.
