Title: The McKay Conjecture and Galois automorphisms

Abstract: Navarro's Refinement of the McKay conjecture counts the number of certain characters fixed by a special kind of Galois automorphisms. In this talk we consider this conjecture for quasi-simple groups of Lie type in defining characteristic and verify it in most cases. The proof relies on a construction by Maslowski which was originally used for the verification of the inductive McKay condition.
