My research focuses on paleoclimatic reconstructions using geochemical proxies, especially the clumped-isotope paleothermometer. I have an interest in methodological development such as testing proxy limitations. My projects consist in combining multi-methods in order to obtain temperature, d18O and pH of the water in which the mineral calcified. I work on various types of carbonates (e.g. foraminifera, coccoliths, bivalves and speleothems) to reconstruct oceanographic and continental climatic variations in deep time. For now, my research mainly focuses on paleoclimatic evolution over the last 10 Ma, with a particular interest for important climatic shifts such as the mid Pleistocene transition.
