Radio detection of neutrinos expert Dr Krijn de Vries receives prestigious grant from the European Research Council

VUB-IIHE researcher Krijn de Vries has received a prestegious European Research Council Starting Grant for his project "Radio detection of the PeV – EeV cosmic-neutrino flux". The coming 5 years de Vries receives 1.4 million euros of funding to develop a research group focusing on novel methods to detect the radio waves of neutrinos that are simultaneously observed by the IceCube neutrino observatory.
