Saskia Demulder, FWO fellow at TENA, received the Solvay Award on October 23 2016 during a ceremony in Studio 4 of the Flagey. She received this prize for her Master thesis “Integrability in the AdS/CFT correspondence” with Alexander Sevrin and Daniel Thompson as advisors.
On May 18 2016 the Prize of the Belgian Physical Society for the best Master thesis was awarded to two PhD students of the TENA group: Saskia Demulder for her thesis “Integrability in the AdS/CFT correspondence” made at the VUB with Alexander Sevrin and Daniel Thompson as advisors and Sibylle Driezen for her thesis “T-dualiteit en N = (4,4) supersymmetrie op het wereldvlak” made at the University of Antwerp with Alexander Sevrin as advisor.
