Title: L-algebras and the quantum YBE

Abstract:
The central object in this talk will be so-called L-algebras. We will start with introducing this class of objects and continue thereafter by explaining the connection, as discovered by W. Rump, with the quantum Yang-Baxter equation. Finally we give a survey on the structure group associated to an L-algebra.
