Prof. Dr. Ann Dooms leads the research group in Digital Mathematics (DIMA) of the Department of Mathematics and Data Science, which specializes in discrete techniques for Data Science. 

She was elected member of the IEEE Technical Committee in Information Forensics and Security and won several prizes for education, research and science communication.
